ATM KEPT MY DEBIT CARD

Can't get debit card returned from ATM machine. I went to deposit cash, and after inserting my debit card it wouldn't return my card.

To let the Public Know Wescom discriminate against its own employees

Since I am unrepresented by a counsel, and don't know the process of law but still am in the fight to get justice. I am appealing to O.C.

Superior Court currently and waiting for a hearing. I have taken legal action against Wescom with seven causes of actions; harassment, retaliation, discrimination based on age and disability, failure to prevent, failure to accommodate, and failure to engage in interactive process with a disable employee. I have been an employee of this company but will not stand for corporate rape and bullying of employees. The reputation of Wescom Central Credit Union is in question on how they treat disabled employees and mistreatment for such long period of time.

While waiting for the conclusion of Arbitration to rule on compensatory damages, you can follow up and read on this case #30-2018-****1572-CU-OE-CJC. Regardless, this will be appealed and I will go all the way to supreme court if justice is not served.

Wescom is a nationwide corporation and has many employees working for them. Wescom has violated acts of discrimination based on age and disability, harassment, and retaliation against employees, failed to protect disable employees with medical condition. No disability accommodation to employees.

Completely disappointed with the terrible customer service, incompetence of the loan processors and the fees, fees, fees. My local Credit Union recommended Wescom, what a mistake that was! They didn't disclose due dates, closing fees or a settlement report until I had to ask for it. The incompetent loan processor could not explain what the fees were for, provided incorrect information, was a terrible communicator. I was so confused and stressed out over the loan process with them that I cancelled the loan. And then... they had the nerve to send me a letter stating that they do not "grant credit to any applicant on the terms and conditions requested". What the #!X#!@# I fired them. Two unreadable signatures were included on the bottom of this letter with no printed names or titles to identify who sent and signed this letter. Completely unprofessional! Worst Customer Service of my life!!! Stay away from Wescom Credit Union if you are looking for a Mortgage Loan... they DON'T know what they are doing!!!

3 months have passed and loan still have not close! What a joke company this is. Thanks for not finishing my refinance on time, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten a better rate with the other lender.

Terrible customer service! Every week I deposit the same check and every week half of my funds are held for several days I was told if I want my funds available ASAP go to the other bank cash it and then deposit cash into my bank. WOW really I have been with this bank forever and I think it’s time for a change!!!!!

Wescom Credit Union - Very Disappointed

I have been a member of this credit union for over 35 years and have not had problems or real problems with them till my divorce. I am the primary member and added my wife (now my ex) 22 years ago, last year she filed for divorce and cleaned me out, now having to start all over at 61.

After the divorce was final I tried to remove her from my account (as a joint) but the credit union insisted that she sign a notarized form given permission to remove her from my account which she refused, meantime she was paying her mortgage the house that "I lost" from our joint checking, After pointless

Arguing with the new wave of incompetent and uncaring staff I suggested they just close my checking account and open a new one which they did but until she decides to sign the form removing her still has access to my share account. If that wasn't a bad enough of a bad experience with Wescom I ordered a new debit card and even though I I authorized a change of address these fools sent her the card with no other excuse but that "It was sent to a secondary address!" I have been a faithful member of Wescom (formally Telephone Employees Credit Union) sInce then I have paid off a house and numerous New Car loans not to mention that fact that I have never defaulted on any of my loans or share accounts, I'm just appalled at the level of incompetence level this credit union is being run!

Too bad this Credit Union use to be very member friendly with the "Members come first approach!" They use to be a great Credit Union, now, just sub-standard! Shame on you Wescom, it's members like me that have kept you in business!

I was very honest and upfront with the great manager at the branch about the fact I was filing bankruptcy by going in before the filing and letting him know my car was not included and I was going to pay my credit card. My attorney told me not to trust a credit union and I should have listened! The branch managers hands are tied people! The main control come from within and they stopped my automatic car payments WITHOUT tellling me, then removed access to my credit card even though it was closed so I couldnt make payments! So I wont!!

I've been a customer with Wescom for years. I received a personal check for my birthday in the amount if 3k. I deposited the check into my account. I knew the check was going to go on hold because I did not have enough in my account to cover the check and I was fine with that. After the check went on a 5 day hold the bank put the check on another hold which was also fine with me because I was under the impression since it was a personal check Wescom was verifying funds. Both holds were released. I went inside the branch to withdraw some of the money. The amount that I withdrew was over the tellers limited so she needed an override. Only a branch manager assistance manager or Sr. Teller has the authority to override a check. I went in the branch proper ID. I then relocated to another state shortly for employment... I was informed about 3 to 5 days later that the account was negative in the amount of 3k. I called and spoke to the branch manager and informed her of how I got the check. I was advised that I had 5 days to bring the account current or it was going to collections. Needless to say it went to collections and I was working with the collection agency. The account was sent to collections November 2012. In July 2015 I was hired on a part time job that conducted a back ground check on me. I have never been arrested or in trouble before. I was let go because of pending criminal charges that I had no idea about. After making some phone calls I found out that Wescom not only sent the account to collections they pressed criminal charges against me for grand theft... I am very disappointed in this.... This is my livelyhood and I am not a criminal. I don't appreciate being treated and charge as one. The only thing I am guilty of is depositing a personal check that cleared twice and that was signed off by a manager when I went inside of the branch... Now I have to hire a lawyer to clear my name because I now have a criminal background... I was never served or went before the court on this matter I did not know I was facing charges until three years later...

Thank you for your comments and information about Wescom. I will never take a large personal check to them.

In fact, unless the check is from the reliable government agency e.g. social security or a very creditable employer; I will not deposit a check into that credit union. That is awful and scary.

I feel very bad about what has happened to you and your livelihood. Not good at all.

Calling for a blocked credit card

Every time I make a purchase through a specific online account my card gets blocked, so every time I have to call their security department. Overall I do no mind having to do this as it lets me know their card security works well. My big issue is that every time I have to call I wait on hold for over 30 minutes (sometimes more than 45 minutes)... EVERY TIME. This is ridiculous for something that is an easy fix. I would be much happier if I did not have to wait so long, they must need better staffing at night.

I have had an account with Wescom since 1996 and have received exemplary customer service. I moved to Illinois in 2000 and still have them as my credit union. They sold my California Condo in record time and continue to provide excellant customer service.

I made the mistake of telling "Sylvia" at the reception desk that I was in a hurry because I was on my lunch hour. She became rude and sent me through two lines. Then, because she herself had to approve a transaction, Sylvia had me wait an extra ten minutes while "Claudia" tried to get her attention when Sylvia was sitting 30 feet away! I work with members of the public. Sylvia could have handed me two forms, and I could have completed my business in 10 minutes instead of 35 minutes. I hope it makes her happy that I have to take time to complain about her poor service.

Interest Rate Review

I had a credit card with Wescom for more than 30 years. I always made payments on time, but they tried to raise the interest rate because they said that my credit score had dipped one quarter. When I questioned the decision, the manager was condescending and refused to discuss it. So I cancelled my credit card.

Wescom Credit Union - Annuity Penalty Review

My parents were in their eighties and wanted to add a considerable amount to their savings. The "investment" expert at Wescom tried to sell them an annuity which would have penalized them for taking any money out for TEN YEARS. When I questioned a manager about this attempt to dupe my parents, she said that that was the recommendations their "investment" staff made, in spite of the fact that my parents would have to live well into their nineties to avoid being penalized for the bad advice.

Unable to receive mortgage payment coupon

I called at least 3 times to resolve the issue of not receiving my monthly real estate payment coupon. Wait time on hold was at least 20 to 30 mins each time and I received 3 different answers, apparently I was placed on internet notification, which when viewed did not solve my problem. This group is worst financial organization I have ever dealt with. I inherited them from my old Unocal account and went through a mortgage transaction believing Wescom was competent. Over the last 10 years I have had to remove my savings and direct deposit from my account because of mismanagement. To sum this up, if it was not for the cost I would refinance my home loan just to get rid of Wescom. Jack B
